Resource Center

  • Membership directory: Listing in our annual membership directory will enable you to communicate with others in the association that can be of great assistance to help solve problems that you may encounter
  • Publications, video training tapes available: Several important publications relating to job descriptions, handbooks for custodial personnel, custodian and maintenance video training tapes are available to assist you in doing a professional job training your personnel
  • Job Bank Program: Chief School Administrators constantly call our central office for applicants for positions that are vacant. We file your resume and match positions that are vacant. The Association's central office acts as a clearing house both for job seekers and potential employers in the educational facility management field.
  • Associate Member (Supplier/Consultants) Listings: Our annual membership directory contains a listing of our Associate Members who are pleased to serve your needs for supplies, equipment, or services that each educational facility manager requires. They are all supportive of our association and are willing to be of assistance in technical matters and new techniques.
  • Perfect Attendance: Members who attend all the meetings each year will receive an award and gift.


Types of Memberships

Active Professional Membership:

1. Active Members: All persons regularly employed by a school district in the work of Supervisor of Building and Grounds and having a title or one similar.

2. Associate Members: Any firm of suppliers of materials or equipment to educational facilities. Active members to propose name of firm and its designated representative to the membership for investigation. Suppliers are not permitted to exhibit or solicit their products at the annual conference unless permission is granted to do so by the Executive Committee. Associate members do not have the right to vote or hold office or attend meetings without invitation. Associate members shall enjoy first chance for our annual show listed in our directory. Be invited to our regular meeting to show their new products.

Retired Membership

1. All regularly retired persons who were members of this association at the time of retirement shall be considered life members of the association but will not be permitted to hold an elected office or be eligible to vote.

Active Member

$300

Be employed by and on the full-time payroll of a public or private school district or municipal government having school plant jurisdiction, college or university, or state department of education and be performing system-wide plant management functions in an administrative or supervisory capacity. 

Associate (Vendor) Member

$200

Perform or provide a service or product that could be of interest to educational facilities.  

Retired Member

FREE

Have retired from a school plant management position and being a former attendee in good standing.
